About 98% Of My Candidates Are Now Assemblymen – Chairman Wontumi

In fulfilment of his civic duty, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, on Tuesday, 17th December, 2019, cast his vote during District Assembly and Unit Committee Elections.

Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, in an interview with Peacefmonline.com after ballots were counted couldn’t hide his joy but openly confess that about 98% of the candidates he presented to contest in the elections were voted for at the various electoral areas.

The NPP Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi also used the opportunity to thank the entire Ashanti region for supporting his agenda.

He noted that “I want to thank Asanteman for helping me elect people who can help our various District Chief Exectiives bring development to our communities”.

“I also want to urge the elected candidates to demonstrate goodwill and help their respective DCEs so that people will see and feel development around them and vote massively for Nana Akufo-Addo”.
