Natalie Cassidy follows Kirk Norcross out of Celebrity Big Brother house in double eviction

After being shown weeping over a letter from his dad, Kirk Norcross was evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house tonight.

It was a shock for host Brian Dowling – and for Kirk, 23 – who was a very popular contestant and only received one vote from his fellow housemates.

‘I’m here because I’m me and that’s fair enough,’ the Essex boy declared.

Kirk, who had a crush on fellow housemate Georgia Salpa, was once loved-up with The Only Way Is Essex‘s Lauren Pope. The pair even spent £4,200 on his’n’hers nose jobs – but they broke up for good last summer.

Now he says he’s in love with girlfriend Gemma who he split up with before entering the house.

Natalie Cassidy was a standout star on Celebrity Big Brother – but she was evicted from the house last night.

Everyone expected the Shannon twins to go, not the former EastEnders actress, 28, who the public failed to save following Kirk Norcross‘s exit.

‘My game was to stay after the twins – those two girls absolutely adore themselves,’ Natalie told host Brian Dowling.

‘I taught them to boil a kettle – that is the world they come from.’

Single mum Nat – who was tipped to win the show and at least make the final – has had a tough few years.

First, losing weight for her fitness DVD in 2007 left her ‘bordering on having an eating disorder’.

Then her joy at having baby Eliza in September 2010 was tarnished earlier this year when she split with fiancé Adam Cottrell, 31, after he attacked her during a violent row.
