I Want A God-Fearing Man To Marry – Actress

“As at now, I am very single and waiting patiently upon the Lord to give me a man who is God-fearing because I have not been very fortunate with men,” Portia told News-One.

Portia described herself as a very kind-hearted woman who is down-to-earth and therefore wonders why she is not lucky with men.

According to her, she is a woman who can accommodate any man provided the fellow is a Christian.

“Maybe God is preparing my future husband for me, so I need to take my time and wait upon the Lord because men that have come my way pretending to be God-fearing have been wolves in sheep’s clothing.”

Talking about the last man she dated, the actress said she was deceived into believing he was God-sent only to see his real character later.

Since entering into movies, Portia says her greatest challenge is the fact that producers don’t allow actors to speak their minds, but only dictate what they think must be done.

Portia, who said she is a staunch Christian and member of the International Central Conference Gospel Church, is surprised that no man has come forward yet, including men in her church.

Portia Asare, who attended Kumasi Anglican Secondary School, is now pursuing a Human Resource Management course at Central University, and prefers to stay indoors to avoid any trouble.
