Michael Jackson family want $40 billion from suit

231610274_799420The Michael Jackson wrongful death suit, kicked into action by the late singer’s family, has taken a new twist.

It now appears as though his three children and mum Katherine are looking for $40 billion from AEG live.

Katherine and her grandchildren from Michael sued AEG Live for millions of dollars, accusing the company of negligently hiring Dr. Conrad Murray – who was convicted for involuntary manslaughter – and failing to properly supervise him during his duty of caring for the singer ahead of his “This Is It” concert series.

MJ died from an anesthetic overdose before the gigs were calledoff.

The sprogs want $10 billion for all of the future earnings they claim MJ would have scored had he lived, and an additional $50 million for various other damage.

AEG, of course, claim this figure is ridiculous, saying that MJ’s career was in on the decline after child abuse accusations, and from him living in the middle east.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Yvette Palazuelos ruled that attorneys for AEG Live could use Jackson’s molestation trial as part of their defense in the testimony as it may be relevant to the pop star’s battle with drug abuse.

Many thought the drama following the death of MJ would cease after Murray was convicted, but instead, the intensity has risen exponentially.

This latest court case is set to run and run until someone gets accused of doing something else.
