Rapper T.I. To Help Homeless Vets In ‘Give Like a King Campaign’

Rapper and actor T.I. (pictured) will be launching the “Give Like A King” global campaign on Friday that will focus on the needs of homeless war veterans, reports VLAD TV.

T.I., whose actual name is Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr. has partnered with the Veterans Empowerment Organization, which provides vets with a safety net of housing, meals, health care, substance abuse after care, mental health counseling, and job training/placement assistance.

The 32-year-old performer is working to get his hordes of fans to co-sign on his mission to support the needs of the homeless men and women who have served our country.

According to the Veterans Affairs Administration, there are at least 300,000 vets who are faced with the challenges of being homeless on any given day.

T.I. and the Veterans Empowerment Organization have strategized on how to increase the availability of affordable housing.

“We have to have someone else’s back, not just our own,” T.I. said in a statement.

The “Give Like A King” campaign will cover every media outlet, including print, Internet, radio, television, and even billboards, so that the word can get out about the gravity of the situation involving many of our nation’s heroes and their challenges with homelessness.
