Meet Freeman Daniels, Icons Voice Coach

As an ACCOMPLISHED MUSICIAN, he has been active on the African music scene, touring nations and in the process sharing the limelight with local and international greats like Panam Percy Paul, Sunny Okusun, Onyeka Onwenu, 6 ft +, Tony Tetuila, 2Face and P square to mention a few. Other international stars he has shared stage with are Lionel Peterson & Hugh Masekela of South Africa, Gary V. from philippines in Asia,Osmond Collins, Limit X, DMX and Ashanti all from the United States of America.

As a SONGWRITER and COMPOSER, Freeman has been engaged in writing and composing songs and jingles for the NDLEA (Nigerian Drug and Law Enforcement Agency) and other Government parastatals. He has worked closely with the Army and Navy bands in Nigeria in the musical development of Nigerian Independence Day celebrations.

A couple of events he’s participated in musically worth mentioning include; the opening of the national stadium in Abuja 1999, the Handing over from military to civilian rule 1999 , the All Africa games (COJA), Abuja Nigeria, The Halo-halo concert in Manila, Philippines 2008, & the Dream child concert @ the Accra National theatre Ghana, etc.

Freeman was also the assistant music coordinator for KIDDAFEST in Nigeria, a festival organized by National Theatre of Ghana. A significant aspect of his music career has been his role as member and music director of First Love, a Nigerian group led by Dr. Panam Percy Paul for five straight years. He is also a respected music instructor who has lectured in many Government and private institutions all over including Eagle drama college, Vibe FM school of broadcasting & the African music & dance academy training and inspiring many singers, musicians & vocal performers.

In Ghana, Freeman has already made an impact both on the gospel & popular music scene as a solo performer, sharing the stage with renowned musicians like Danny Nettey, Helen Yawson, Pat Thomas, Paulina Oduro, Wutah, etc. As a voice coach, his influence was memorably felt during the Mentor 2 Reality show on TV3, one of Ghana’s foremost TV Networks. He has since become the go-to expert on voice by all professionals & has coached among many, contestants on Citi FM’s Voice factory season II, Musicmania 2010, as he continues to run vocal workshops.

His soon to be released book “UNDERSTANDING YOUR VOICE & THE ART OF SINGING” is already being touted as an entertainment industry revolutionary tool considering depth of knowledge & his very unique writing style.

He intends to place his great wealth of experience at the disposal of all that desire to improve their music skills.
