The “Christian Entertainment Review” Starts On Sunny FM

Shalom Media seeks to promote the gospel through reviews and interviews of various gospel events and gospel artistes respectively.

What has necessitated this show is the rapid growth of the entertainment industry but with very low attention to the gospel music, gospel artistes and Christian entertainment as a whole.

Now the challenge had been thrown to these Christian entertainers, to meet the changed demand of the gospel entertainment lover. These people are those we refer to currently as the contemporary gospel artistes.

Rather than rehashing its benchmark elements, contemporary gospel music has modernized traditional gospel by incorporating it with the western style; and the result is undeniably better!

Overview and Scope

The Christain Entertainment Review will feature the all Gospel Ministers,Filmmakers,theater,Manager,record,labels,event,organizers,fashsion and will be interviewed and reviewed by experienced men and women in the industry, whose artistry styles reflect the diverse contemporary music scene here in Ghana, Africa and beyond.

The program is set to appeal to all and sundry with special emphasis on the upcoming gospel artistes and how to move Gospel music as well as the other Christian entertainment to the international platform.

The artists who will be on the show will have a huge youthful fan base and their positive influence on the youth cannot be over emphasized. There will be an episode every Saturday with special highlight on current gospel events, new albums, news titbits around the world etc.

To help bring this to life, we have a great panel who will be discussing these issues. We have Pastor Josh Laryea (Pastor, Musician…..), Zapp Mallet (Renowned music engineer) and Nana Osei (Nacy) ( Renowned Sound Engineer),Arnold Asamoah Biado,Odelia ofori(TV3).

This panel will bring to fore their expertise to enhance the program.The host Israel ofori and produced by a very credible production crew. Time on Sunny 88.7 fm 9am – 10am every Saturday.
