A.J Nelson: The New Facet Of Hip Hop Music

The future of Hip Hop in Ghana looks young and brighter as the new facet of Hip Hop has been discovered. There are a lot of up and coming young momentary artists in the Music industry who are struggling to make names for themselves. In the actual fact, most of them are really imitating the styles of the high profile artists in the industry to catch more attention. But A.J Nelson, a humble young energetic and motivational Hip Hop artist’s is exceptionally fantastic and he is the new remedy for the epithet GH Hip Hop music. He is really on his way for becoming the epitome of Hip Hop success in Ghana Music industry.

Agyei Nelson Yaw by name was born, raised and schooled in Brong Ahafo Region,Ghana. Adjei Nelson also by Pseudonym A.J Nelson is a poet, Rap Journalist and goes by The Name A.J Nelson Da B.A Emcee. He’s the first emcee from Brong Ahafo doing it big. Also the first to rap in my native language which is Brong. His life is Brong Ahafo is an autonomous testimony. “Growing up in B/A was tough and fun at the same time. I say this because B/A may be one of the calmest region and also one of toughest region in Ghana. Growing up there made me the man that I am today and am proud of that” he said. His life in Accra was also a different thing altogether. “Living in Accra has also been bitter sweet ups and downs struggling but is all cool because God never said is going to be easy for a man to grow up and becoming what they aspire to be .Pain and happiness play a major role in life, so I live each day as it comes. I can’t complain” he said in an official statement released this week.

A. J Nelson also aspires to bring the best of Hip Hop and is up to the task of raising Hip Hop to an international standard. Already dropped hit “Same Girl” featuring Quabena Maphia, he has also unleashed a heart soothing motivational “Faith” featuring the RnB King, Jay Ghartey. The video is out and is expected to capture the hearts of all music lovers and his fans. The future of this young guy looks really bright and positive and the whole Ghana should be proud of him. He is ready for the task of reviving Gh Hip Hop and has the entire necessary requirement ahead of time. His rap and lyrics very smooth, educative and life changing tracks released so far. A. J is absolutely ready and very commitment in making all the amendments in Gh Music. “I believe Hip Hop in Gh is doing well so far. What is missing now is the message and that’s what am bringing into the game and let the old folks know that we may be young but we have wisdom enough to think like a man and be original” he said.” Don’t forget to be great is to be misunderstood” he continued.

Talking about his future in Gh Music industry he said, “The future is in the Hands of my Maker (Jehovah). I can only ask him to bless me with knowledge and strength to be able to do what I do. And once am granted all of these I don’t need to tell you how the future is going to be”. Without disappointing his fans with an aesthetic music, he is yet to unleash another single titled “Enemy” featuring A. J Omo Alaja and Jupita and probably his new album which many believes is going to be a record breaking historic single ever. In fact, A.J is a world class artist with what it takes to be the best rapper ever celebrated.
