Accra gears up for ‘Medicine for Love’ comedy at National Theatre

images“MEDICINE FOR LOVE”, a stage comedy written by James Ene Henshaw and directed by Ama Achiaa Prempeh comes off at the National Theatre this Friday.

Produced by April Communications, the play will be staged for two days at the same venue. First show is on October 23 at 6:00pm and the second show will take place the following day Saturday, October 24 at 4:00pm & 8:00pm.

Get ready for the suspense, the intrigue and rib cracking laughter as “MEDICINE FOR LOVE” features extraordinary and wonderful actors in the movie terrain; Naa Ashorkor, Ken Fiati, Harold Amenyah, Roselyn Kwasie, AJ Sarpong , Valerie Asare, Wilhemina Buadie, Danny Delong, and many others.

“Sammy a young politician has been sent two wives; by a wealthy cousin and an uncle respectively, each of them having decided on their own that it’s about time he got married. Atswei a typical Jamestown girl moves in with her sister and mother while Becky moves in with her father.

“The house is immediately turned into a battlefield with rivals accusing each other of making medicine to win Sammy’s love. In the midst of the chaos and the heat of electioneering campaign, arrives a message from his Aunt announcing the arrival of a third wife; Araba.” What happens next?
