Afua Sam Makes A Spalsh At Africa Fashion Week New York

Founded by Ghanaian born Afua Sam of Studio D-Maxsi, one of the fastest growing fashion houses based in Washington DC,Afua Sam of Studio D-Maxsi Showcased her statement making garments and sense of independence at Africa Fashion Week New York(AFWNY).

AFWNY included runway shows hosting 21+ designers from various countries in Africa and those from the African Diaspora, exhibitions, and industry networking events. Opening designers were Francis Hendy, Korto Momolu, and designers like Mafi, Attolle Collection, Geraldo Fashions and many others.Below are some of the glamorous designs from Afua Sam’s Studio D- Maxsi at the AFWNY 2012.
