Billy Ocean, DJ Black, DJ Mensah, DJ Mic Smith, Kess, Abrantee, Killer Fingers Nominated For African Global DJ Awards 2013

The nominees for the maiden African Global DJ Awards were announced at a March 1 Press Conference at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.

Ghana’s DJ Black, Mic Smith, Killer Fingers, Mensa, Ronnie, Billy Ocean, Kess and Abrantee earned nominations in various categories.

The scheme is aimed at recognizing the growing importance of disc jockeys to the African and global music scene, the organizers have said.

The finals will be held at the Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa on May 4 and will be hosted by Channel O VJ Denrele and Ugandan rapper Navio.

The awards is powered by Stronghold Entertainment and Stats Media Group .
