Bola Ray to raise GH¢10,000 to support Joy FM Easter Soup Kitchen

Host of Drive Time on Joy 99.7 FM, Kwabena Anokye Adisi popularly known as Bola Ray is raising GH¢10,000 to support this year’s Joy FM Easter Soup Kitchen

The annual event is a Corporate Social Responsibility project by Joy FM which feeds, clothes and provides medical support to thousands of porters and street children in the nation’s capital.

This year’s Easter Soup Kitchen is scheduled on Easter Sunday, March 31 at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park.

The man, whose show won the Radio Programme of the Year at the 2012 Global Radio and Television Personality Awards, has launched an aggressive campaign to raise funds to help provide for the needy.

According him, the initiative was born out of the need for individuals to contribute their quota towards creating a better society.

Bola Ray said the campaign is part of initiatives to mark his tenth anniversary at Joy FM.

The campaign runs from now till Saturday, March 30. Bola Ray has promised to top up in the likely event the amount raised by workers of Joy FM and the public is less than the GH¢10,000 target.
