Christabel Ekeh plays lead role in Family Album Movie

The dream of most actresses is to play the lead role in any movie. That is why beautiful actress Ckristable Ekeh is excited to be playing the lead role in the movie ‘Family Album’.

“I would attribute my playing the lead role in this movie as the will of God, hard work, determination and patience. It was not easy for me to get to where I have gotten to but all the same Christ has been my anchor and he has brought me this far.

“I know that sometimes, actresses want to be given big roles to play because, they think it is only then can they showcase their ability to act or to bring out the talent they possess. But I believe it is a matter of you putting in your best and doing whatever your lay your hands on diligently and wholeheartedly,” she said.

Family Album was produced by female executive filmmaker, Hajia Maizongo, CEO of Silverline Production and it is set to premiered on Friday, 7th November, 2014, at the Silver Bird Cinema, Accra Mall and Saturday Silva Bird Cinema in Weija, at 6:30pm and 9:30pm on both nights.

The movie, which was directed by Pascal Amanfio, stars award winning actors: Majid Michel, Eddie Watson, Salma Mumin, Kafui Danku, Ebi Bright, Kalsoume Sinare and the revered veteran Kofi Ajorlolo.

Family Album can be classified as best drama film shot in recent times with lots of suspense. All the scenes happened in one day at a wedding.

The film also showcases Ghana’s rich African setting.

Commenting on how she feels acting alongside Kalsoume Sinare, Majid Michel and Kofi Adorlolo, Christabel said; “it was an amazing experience, they knew what they were about and they gave off their best. It’s a pleasure to learn from them and I thank the production team for believing in me.”
