Colourful display of Tradition as Asanteman perform rites for Departed QueenMother

The Ashanti Kingdom was thrown into a state of sorrow when it was announced late last year that the QueenMother of the Land, Nana Afia Serwaa Kobi Ampem had passed away. In accordance with tradition, the Asantehene and the entire Asante Kingdom performed burial rites for the departed Mother of the Land and ghanashowbiz took some pictures of the glamourous event.
