Funny Face, two others headline Hitz FM’s Laughter Express

Ghana’s premier entertainment station, Hitz 103.7 FM, is at it again and this time around it is hitting Ghanaians not with music but with a night of non-stop laughter.

The show is dubbed Laughter Express and it is in collaboration with events outfit, Easy Planet.

Three hilarious comedians; Funny Face, Ajibade and Ellenu will join forces to thrill fans to a night of an impeccable and unforgettable laughter at the Aviation Social Centre Friday February 25.

Funny Face, known for his role in popular television series Chorkor Trotro as a driver’s mate is leading the acts for the night.

He has been tagged as the future of Ghanaian comedy and has so far performed alongside renowned names such as AY, Seyi Law, Gordons and recently with KSM.

Nigerian comedian, Ellenu, is a nominee for comedian of year 2010/2011. He has performed on major shows with Basketmouth and also on the popular Nigerian comedy series, the AY Live series.

Ellenu has been billed to perform alongside his compatriot, Ajibade.

Laughter Express is the first in the series of productions under the Comedy Club and it is aimed at giving comedy fans a platform to see the best up-and-coming acts in the country as well established acts from across Africa.

Without a doubt, it will bring laughter, entertainment, networking as well as quality food to people looking for a fun night out at a reasonable price.

According to organizers, Laughter Express – Comedy Club will see the staging of up to 10 shows throughout this year.
