According to reliable sources, he died from a “bilateral massive pulmonary embolism” (the blockage of the main artery of the lung or one of its branches by a substance that has travelled from elsewhere in the body through the bloodstream).

It is a condition where a clot of blood prevents blood circulation to the lungs, increases the pressure to the heart and causes an almost instantaneous death.
