Hearts of Oak goalkeeper “gifts” victory to Asante Kotoko in “El Classico” clash

The matchday 10 fixture of the Ghana Premier League featured two of the glamorous teams in Ghana; Hearts and Kotoko pitched against each other  at the Accra Sports stadium to climax the worker day celebration in the country.

In what was expected to be a good afternoon for both set of players to enjoy and give off their best, the Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Soulama Abdoulaye will however live to regret this day as a blatant blunder by him gave their rivals Asante Kotoko a 1-0 win and to make matters worse for him, was sent off later in the game for fouling a kotoko striker, Dauda Mohammed who on a clear sight to goal.

This goalkeeper clearly needs clearly needs courage and a cool head to face the amount of criticisms he would be facing in the upcoming days. A former player of Kotoko, there are already allegations of him taking bribe and still has his umbilical cord tied to his former club.
