“I apologize for not being there for Kwaw Kese”

Exactly a year after unwholesome news broke on the gruesome murder of young outspoken business entrepreneur and former manager of Kwaw Kese, Fennec Okyere at his Spintex residence in Accra, Richard Agymenag Berko, an entertainment pundit and artist manager has rendered an unqualified apology to Kwaw Kese for not being able to stand by him throughout the past year.

Speaking on their relationship prior to Fennec’s death, rumours surrounding the death and the aftermath in an interview with NY DJ on Ryse N Shyne (YFM, Kumasi), Richard who could not hide his emotions as tears dropped down his eyes rendered an unqualified apology to Kwaw Kese and asked him to forgive him for not manning up to the task to stand by him all this while.

“We were family and did everything together. Fennec paved a lot for me for which I am eternally grateful. I however feel very bad about all that has happened in the past year ….I’m unable to look at Kwaw Kese in the face anytime we meet because I know I have failed him…I had to gather enough courage to visit him when he was arrested and kept behind bars at the Kumasi Central Prisons.”

Asked if the police could still bring to book the perpetrators of the evil act, Richard disclosed he was unsure anything better would be found after a year.

“The police got it all wrong from the beginning as they allowed people to troop into the scene where my brother was murdered. How do you conduct a better forensic report when evidence has been tampered with? It will only take God to find the ones involved.”
