I love Mzvee’s voice – Efya admires

Ghanaian pop star, Efya, has commended MzVee’s talent and hard work, saying the young songstress is headed for the top.

The two who released their first collabo, ‘Abofra’ on Monday, have some massive sister love going on between them.

Efya told Anita Erskine on the Starr Drive on Friday she thinks MzVee “is an amazing person. She knows what she wants and she’s going for it which is very great.”

The ‘Gingam’ star said, “In the industry you need to be ready for the things that are coming and the things that are going to come” and she finds MzVee as a perfect fit.

“And I think she has an amazing team and she has an amazing voice. I love her voice and I love the way she’s crafted it and how she uses it. When she does different genres …I think she’s just going, going to the top,” she said.

Commenting on her former partner Irene Logan, Efya said she loves the way the ‘Kabila’ singer has kept her own in the industry.

She also stated there is no competition between them as individual artistes.

“Yeah, we still have that relationship because she’s always gonna be my sister. I wouldn’t say there is a stiff competition. You know everyone is just trying to do their thing and get there so even if there is a competition, I don’t see that between me and her.

“Then I would be competing with every other female in the industry right? You know. So I think we are just kind of trying to do our thing.”
