JM Bounces Back

Joseph Mensah Ntim, whose music has gone down well with music lovers in Ghana and Europe, has announced his presence again with another hit single titled, ‘Engine ‘.

Mensah, known in the music scene as JM, whose latest single was yet to receive massive airplay, told BEATWAVES in a chat that he was working tirelessly to change the trend of Ghanaian hiplife music.

The single, ‘Engine,’ had inspiring and soul-touching lyrics which talked about everyday life and the need to desist from acts that sought to undermine progress.

‘Engine’ was a mid-tempo song rendered in hip-hop and Afro pop beats, with a beautiful rhythm, good drum beat and a great base tune to match.

JM’s consistency as an artiste has made a tremendous impact, motivating and inspiring many music lovers who believed his songs were very good.

He happened to be one of the few young dedicated Afro pop artistes in the country who were working tirelessly to put Ghanaian music on the world map.

JM, who was not new in the music industry, has carved a niche for himself with his stagecraft and dancing skill. If you have not watched him perform live on stage, then you were really missing something good. He was one of the few Ghanaian artistes who were gradually making it onto the international music scene.

JM’s single had unique features in terms of beat and style, which was a new element in our current music dispensation.

The creativity in the song was also commendable and it had the potential of becoming a big hit, considering how it was gaining public appeal.

All of JM’s songs were easy to sing along and considering the kind of message he was sending to the youth, one would easily be motivated to sing along.
