Matilda launches maiden album

Another talent has been born to the Ghana music industry and she goes by the name Matilda Agyemang. Gospel diva Matilda launched her maiden album titled abandendenwhich was backed by the Y.Dos band today at the last days gospel church located at Kasoa brigade. She performed songs like ‘me kra’ ‘menkomshe’ and ‘abandenden’. The turnout was massive and the support was great as she performed her songs. Artistes like Ohemma Mercy, Framcis Ammoh and Patience Nyarkoh were there to lend their support to the talent.

She writes her own songs and has never paid payola and is not planning to do so. Despite her decision she respects and shows appreciation for presenters and DJ’s. She believes good music sells and doesn’t need to pay its way through. If the music is good people won’t mind buying it or spending money on it.

The popular magyingo dance troop which has made vibes at events in Ghana was there to support. She is a dancer and the group leader for magyingo dancers. She hopes to transfer her zeal and success to this album too. She looks forward to makes waves in the music industry and impact the lives of people.
