Nigerians hardly play Ghanaian music – Jupitar

Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Mykell O’mint popularly known as Jupitar has disclosed that Nigerians hardly play content from Ghana on their platforms unlike what happens in Ghana.

“Nigerians are very patriotic, they hardly play Ghanaian music as we do”, he said.

According to the artiste who was speaking in an interview with Dr Pounds on the ‘Hitz Gallery’ show, he visited Nigeria for a short while and observed their radio stations only played music from their country.

“Even though I wasn’t there for long, I noticed they played 100 % Nigerian music not to even talk of American music. Nigerians really believe in their own” he stated.

He only heard a few Ghanaian songs when he visited the night clubs, he added.

Meanwhile, The ‘Enemies’ hit maker will soon release some new hits s a result of collaborations with some Nigerian acts like TuFace, Patoranking, Iyanya and some others which will be released soon.
