Shatta Wale has not smoked weed for the past three years – Pope Skinny

‘Hot Cake’ rapper, Pope Skinny has revealed that the controversial dance hall artist, Shatta Wale has not smoked weed for a number of years despite speculation to the contrary.

Speaking on Adom FM’s Entertainment Hall show hosted by Mike 2 on Saturday, Pope Skinny revealed that the dancehall artist stopped smoking weed for the past three years.

“Most musicians who take in drugs before performing do that to keep their names on top” he added.

According to him what a Gospel musician will do to appeal to his fans will not be the same as the hiplife artist but if someone takes drugs before performing that is his own way to face the crowd.

The rapper and host of award-winning radio programme  ‘Kasa Hari Level’ on Adom FM said most musicians cannot perform without smoking marijuana but he doesn’t smoke any hard drug or even take alcohol.

“Personally I used to smoke shisha which is not a hard drug but I don’t drink nor smoke,” the rapper said.
