This is how Africa voted – BBAhotshots

After Africa voted, one  JJ topped with 5 votes. Tayo  received three country votes and Permithias  received two country votes. Four housemates received one country vote each, which means that the tie breaker rule came into effect, and two housemates received no country votes. According to the Big Brother Africa rules, if the popularity vote does not yield clear evictees and there is a deadlock between two or more housemates, the percentage vote from each of the 15 regions will be added together and divided by 14 in order to generate an across-the-board percentage, which will then ascertain who stays and who goes. The three housemates that were evicted as per the tie-breaker rules are therefore Sabina, Lilian and Esther.

Here are the results:

Botswana – JJ

Ghana – Tayo

Kenya – Sabina

Malawi – JJ

Mozambique – JJ

Namibia – Permithias

Nigeria – Tayo

Rest of Africa – Tayo

Rwanda – Frankie

South Africa – JJ

Tanzania – Laveda

Uganda – Ellah

Zambia – Permithias

Zimbabwe – JJ

Meanwhile the gold team (team B) took the win in this week’s extravaganza task! This win rendered the gold team immune and safe from nominations. They are: Arthur, Butterphly,

Frankie, Macky2, Mr. 265, Goitse, Luis, Sipe, Sheillah, Tayo and Trezagah. This then regrettably meant that members of the silver team were unlucky this week and were not safe from nominations. They are: Samantha, Kacey Moore, JJ, Laveda, Nhlanhla, Ellah, Idris,

Alusa, Permithias, M’am Bea.

During the nomination session, Laveda, Permithias and Nhlanhla seems to be the name on many lips, scoring 10, 7, and 7 nominations each. Other housemates with multiple nominations were JJ (4), Ellah (3) M’am Bea (3), Alusa (2), Kacey Moore (2). The head of house task will take place on Monday and the winner will earn immunity from eviction as well as the power to add another name to list of housemates up for eviction
