Kumawood Actress Tracey Boakye, has rejected claims by fellow Industry players that the John Mahama led NDC government has collapsed the Ghanaian movie Industry. The Actress, speaking on solid Fm, a local radio station in Kumasi where she is based in Ghana, claimed that it is rather some movie producers who have collapsed the movie industry by selling some movies cheaply to Television stations.

According to her, some producers went as far as to sell their movies cheaply for GHC 300 to television stations “and how do u expect people to buy movies if the can watch them freely on these tv stations”, she lamented. We even produce more movies ever since he came into power. If you are not getting a job, check your lifestyle. She added.
