US rapper Lil Jon builds a second school in Ghana

– American musician, Lil Jon, has constructed two schools in Ghana

– The first one was completed in October 2017

– He has so far invested $70,000 in the school projects

Popular American music artiste, Lil Jon, has constructed a school building at Mafi Atitekpo in the Volta region. This brings to two, the number of schools he has helped build in Ghana.

The first one, built at Abomayaw, was aptly named Abomayaw D.A Kindergarten, and opened in October 2017.

In an interview with the Cable News Network (CNN), Lil Jon revealed that it has been his desire to help children in developing countries to gain access to good education.

The new school, he said, was funded in partnership with Pencils of Promise, a charity organization.

“I’m all about helping children; children are our future and every child deserves to have an environment where they can learn and flourish and gain knowledge.”, he emphasized.

Information available to YEN.com.gh shows that Lil Jon donated $70,000 towards the construction of the schools.

He was inspired to help when he visited Ghana last year.
