Miss Ghana Finalist Drops Out of The Contest

Only the observers with keens eyes at last Saturday’s Miss Ghana Street Fashion Show would have observed that there were only 19 contestants on the runway instead of the 20 finalists.

Emelia Ainoooson a 20-year old student of the Ghana Institute of Journalism was missing in action. According to sources, she pulled out of the contest in order to focus on schooling.

This was as a result of the extension in the calendar for the pageant, which was supposed to have been completed some weeks ago.

Emilia believes the extension and activities lined up for the pageant would affect her studies.
