Golden Tulip hosts White Carpet Fashion Night

The Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra will come alive as Hannah Hulley Enterprise rolls out the 2014 edition of its White Carpet Fashion event on May 17.

The runway event is aimed at revolutionizing Ghana’s fashion industry and focusing more on the sale of African-made clothing. It will parade a number of top Ghanaian celebrities and African models.

Participating designers would showcase a wide range of clothes with a unique range of fabrics from Asia, Europe, South America and Africa.

Some of the country’s acclaimed models would be on the runway to do what they know best.

The first edition was held on April 21, 2012 at the Exopa Burg behind the Accra International Trade Centre.

The second was held on November 29, 2013 at the Oak Plaza off the Spintex road in Accra with a performance by Sherifa Gunu.

Saturday’s event is anticipated to be attended by fashion icons, designers and other players in Ghana’s showbiz industry.
