5 front line health workers test positive for COVID-19 in Eastern Region

- Five (5) front line health professionals have tested positive for the novel Coronavirus in the Eastern Region.
The number is out of over a hundred (100) health workers exposed to positive contacts hence quarantined, being tested, and treated.

For now, the Eastern Region has 94 cases.
Many health facilities in the Eastern Region are still struggling to get the full complement of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) for healthcare workers despite all the individual, institutional donations, and some few distributions by the Ghana Health Service.
As of the time of filing this report, Ghana’s case count stands at 2719 with 18 deaths and 294 discoveries.
