A soldier in prison for having sex with his daughter.

Those who were supposed to know better and be custodians of the law have started stepping on same.

An Accra circuit has convicted Sergeant Eric Asare-Mante to prison custody for incest.

Sergeant Asare-Mantey, a serving military officer stationed at the Burma Camp was charged and found guilty for sleeping with his 15-year-old daughter since she was 9.

According evidence presented in court by  Chief Inspector Kofi Atimbire, the prosecutor, Eric Asare always took advantage of his daughter anytime he shaved her pubic hair for her.

The soldier pleaded not guilty, however the court found him guilty and sentenced to 20 years imprisonment in hard labour as a deterrent to others.
