Accra Nightlife Awards Organizers Set To Announce Nominees

Yaw A. Debrah, CEO of Edge Media Group, assured the press present at the launch of how meticulous the selection process of nominees would be to award only the deserving industry players.

According to him, the full nominee list and voting criteria is ready. Nominees in this year’s Accra Nightlife Awards were selected by an independent body of over 500 patrons of the nightlife industry in Accra and further approved by a board of industry experts. The categories available for selection this year were

Best Int’l Restaurant
Best Hotel Bar
Best Casino
Best Local Gem
Best Bar
Best Late Night Snacks Sales Point
Best Live Venue
Best Ambiance
Best Nightclub
Best Annual Event
Best Weekly Club Event
Best Club DJ
Best DJ
Best Sports Bar
Best Nightlife Photographer
Best Doorman
Best Club MC
Best MC
Best Traditional African Restaurant
Best Concert Promoters
Best Club Event Promoters

The full list of nominees in each category will be release at a press conference on the 21 st of December. At this conference, selection processes and voting procedures would be made known to the public. The main event is set to take place in the early weeks of January next year, 2013.

The maiden edition of the Accra Nightlife Awards is organized by Edge53 , a Ghanaian based events and media outlet.
