Actor Junior Pope Says Nigerians Have Replaced Palliatives With Their Votes

Nollywood actor, Junior Pope has taken to social media to react to reports of the COVID-19 relief food items allegedly stored in warehouses across the country and the outrage that has followed.

The Thespian in his reaction to the reports slammed Nigerians who complained that the government hoarded the Covid-19 palliatives.

According to the actor, the people already sold their palliatives by selling their votes, so they should not expect anything from the politicians who bought them, be it palliatives or any other thing, even though it is meant for them.

In his words:

“Why will they give you palliatives specifically meant for you when actually they paid you off to have your votes? In other words, you have sold your palliatives. And as such you shouldn’t be expecting anything from the leaders you sold your votes to… 2023 I run.”

The last couple of days have witnessed the looting of Covid-19 palliatives in states across Nigeria, from warehouses, as well as, houses of some politicians.
