Actress Vivian Okyere passes as a Barrister

Last Friday, 2nd October 2015, marked the official call to the bar for award-winning actress Yvonne Okyere as well as other colleagues in Ghana at the State house, banquet hall.

The sensational actress who took a break from acting to pursue her law career abroad was in the center of most popular Ghanaian movie before finally deciding to put her acting career on hold to pursue this childhood dream.

She doesn’t take all the credit as she always seems to praise her husband, whose motivation influenced her decisions at that time.

The actress, now barrister had recently completed the post law course which guarantees her qualification as a barrister in Ghana.

In a brief interview with ghkwaku.com concerning how her recent promotion will influence her acting career, she said:

“Well, I think with the scheduling of my job as a barrister at the moment, it will be extremely difficult to be acting on the side but then again, this term of my course is for 6 months so we’ll see after that, hopefully, I’ll return because I’m passionate about acting a lot and I can’t imagine stopping.

It might be as it used to be, but I will be taking up a few roles every now and then once the payment is good.

Yvonne Okyere later that night hosted a thank you dinner which saw actor Prince David Osei, Dj Mensah, actress Zynnel Zuh, bloggers, her colleague barristers and many others coming in to make it an eventfully successful night.
