After Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ “Corona Quack” Exposé, What Next?

Anas Aremeyaw Anas as the convener for Tiger Eye PI has really gotten loads of backings from Ghanaians and the world at large. With his adopted method of Naming, Shaming and Jailing (even though some disagree with the investigative formality), many have had high hopes in it to at least limit some societal menace such as bribery and corruption. But is that the case?

Many feel that Anas Aremeyaw Anas isn’t receiving the needed supports to triumph over the “rich, notorious and politically affiliated” goons who are sometimes caught on camera committing crimes with impunity.

One may even ask – is naming and shaming anything to a very dishonest Ghanaian and African? Do they feel ashamed at all? If the corrupted minds of some Africans felt any shame, they would have resigned from their various jobs as soon as they saw their faces on Anas’ exposé and not hang around for even a second!

When it comes to the jailing aspect too, the entangled use certain legalities to either stay off or prolong its actualization. A typical example is how surprised many Ghanaians are by the alleged #Number12 exposé which somewhat implicated the erstwhile Ghana Football Association (GFA) boss, Almighty Kwesi Nyantakyi and how he walks freely till date (even though he lost his job).

So after Anas has toiled to expose the “Corona Quacks” what next? Does it end there?
