Akoo Nana announces new single

Those wondering what the hiplife rapper has been doing this new year that he spent out of the spotlight (more or less), need wonder no more: he’s been in the recording studio, working for his fans.

Akoo Nana of ‘Wash & Wear’ fame has just released another single, ‘Maa Abena’. Akoo Nana also announced his new album release ‘Ma Pick’ for next month, releasing via his independent label, Parrot Concept to Ghana Music.com. Audio: Maa Abena by Akoo Nana.

For his next album, Akoo Nana enlists guest appearances from Shee, Stay Jay, Zigi, Red, Kofi B, and Trigmatic. The album has already spawned tracks such as “Mwaai (Wash & Wear)”  featuring Zigi, as well as “What Says The Time”  featuring Stay Jay.”

This week Akoo Nana dropped ‘Maa Abena’  to stir up some buzz.
