Akoo Nana’s Stage Craft

Controversial Rapper and entrepreneur Akoo Nana seems to enjoy courting a lot of controversy for himself lately.In real life his name is William Ankrah.He  is very controversial and off late he has something up his sleeves whenever  he is about to mount the stage.He shocked over 20,000 music patrons at the maiden edition of the ‘Tigo Music Unplugged’ concert at the Accra Sports Stadium when he mounted the stage with three bare-chested ladies dressed in traditional ‘Dipo’ outfits. The masked girls performed all the dance moves—from Azonto to Alkayida— while music fans cheered at their dangling breasts on stage. They only had local beads with white cloths around their waists.

At the recently ended  MTN Saminifest he came on stage with another stage craft that kept the crowd amazed.The wash and wear hit maker came on stage to perform his hit songs at the festival.After performing about two of his songs he asked the crowd if they wanted him to take of his trousers and the shouted yes, At that point everyone’s attention was on him because he was about to do something different. He instructed the  crowd to keep shouting as he started to untie the waist rope of his trousers. After doing that he zoomed to his next song will holding on to the trousers at his waist. After the song he made the crowd shout again in the bid to take off his trousers. After the crowd hailed him the he left the stage without actually taking off his trousers. He is an entrepreneur and making sure he gets the media attention and maintain his fame in the music industry.
