Akosua Agyapong Thrills Fans

Ace musician Akosua Agyapong has proven that the ‘Azonto’ dance which has been widely accepted by Ghanaians is not a reserve for the youth.

The talented musician, who is in her early 40s, was the toast of the people that recently gathered at the Peace and Love Hospital in Kumasi, where she danced ‘Azonto.’.

The mother of six stunned the people present by displaying new ‘Azonto’ skills which has never been witnessed in the country.

The occasion was the official launch of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, a known world event to sensitize the populace about breast cancer.

The race, which would hit Kumasi on May 25, 2012, is being organized by Breast Care International, Ghana, headed Dr Mrs. Beatrice Wiafe Addai and Susan G Komen from the USA.

Akosua Agyapong, who is Global Ambassador for breast cancer, was billed to sing briefly and entertain the crowd at the well attended function.

The popular musician did not disappoint as she sang melodious songs accompanied by ‘Azonto’ steps.

Indeed Akosua Agyapong’s performance was well accepted by the crowd, notably Dr. Mrs. Wiafe Addai.

The well acclaimed breast surgeon who was sitting on the dais could not help but join the ace musician on the floor, dancing ‘Azonto’ with Akosua Agyapong.
