Akufo Addo has something against Churches and mosques – NDC campaign team member

The communications member of the Campaign Team of opposition National Democratic Congress, James Agyenim Boateng says Churches and mosques could also operate freely just like politicans.

 

When I look back at the NPP parliamentary primaries and their nationwide breach of the COVID19 protocols on that day, the non-adherence to these same protocols in many places including markets, lorry stations and other places of mass gatherings and interactions as well as the ongoing registration of voters and its associated disregard for COVID19 risk mitigation protocols, I am tempted to hold the view that the Akufo-Addo government has something against churches and mosques. Why are they still under these burdensome restrictions and protocols when these breaches are literally everywhere across OUR country? There may be no church by the time these strictures are lifted off the church.

PS:
I am not opposed to the observance of COVID19 risk reduction protocols by churches and mosques. But if the government acting through state institutions and its political party breach these protocols with such reckless abandon, then what’s the point in exacting compliance from only churches and mosques?
