Akufo Addo is not interested in debating Mahama – Sammi Awuku

Former president John Dramani Mahama has called for a sit down debate to settle the infrastructure bruhaha ongoing. He threw the challenge to the sitting president, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo to come and debate him any day, anytime, anywhere.

The National Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sammi Awuku has rubbished the call by the former president saying it’s needless. He said Ghanaians are the better judges of who has done well on infrastructure.

“You don’t need a debate to see what’s going on in Pokuase or at Abossey Okai. We have our own campaign strategy and would not be distracted by anybody” he said.

There is no official statement from the presidency yet whether they would honor the debate or not.
