Amandzeba, Rex To Rock National Theater On May 24

Come May 24, The National Theatre will play host to traditional and contemporary musicians such Amanzeba Nat Brew, , Wolomei Band and Screw Face in peace concert dubbed ‘The African Union Day Peace Concert'.

The event, a brainchild of RAM Media Concert, is designed to bring people from various backgrounds together to participate in a live music concert while conscientizing themselves of the need to preserve peace in the country.

Amanzeba Nat Brew is expected to play tunes from his album ‘ Maria' and other hit songs such as ‘ Dede   Misuumobo', ‘Wogbe Jeke' , among others.  Rex Omar, on the other hand, will be dishing out live music such as ‘ Abiba ‘. Screw Face will also play a rendition from his latest album ‘ Kpee Kpaa Kpon' . Wolomei Band will also produce old tunes, performing in their traditional white cloth costume reminiscent of the traditional Wolomei in the Ga communities.

Organizers of the concert, RAM Media Concepts, and Kofi Okoto Productions say they are expecting both high profile and the general audience to come and dance to live band music on a common floor.

The event, which is being organized to commemorate the African Union Day Celebration, which falls on May 25, 2012, is also expected to bring unity and togetherness among Ghanaians continent marks the African Union Day.

Kofi Okoto Production, Ram Media Concept, in Collaboration with Multi TV, are putting up the show at the National Theatre.
