From the above post the man was picked up by the police, probably because of his looks with dreadlocks. He was allegedly faced with various interrogations until he revealed his true identity to the Nigerian law enforcers as a police officer in U.S.A.

Many social media users posted ‘solidarity’ messages and narrated how they have in turn experienced such predicaments.

Reacting to the issue, the American police officer advised the Nigerian police force to desist from the habit of judging people by their mere looks.
