ASANKO MINES TO HELP BOOST EDUCATION IN ASHANTI REGION.
Two “good” heads they say are always better than one.
One of the most essential bench marks that companies leave behind in their operating regions or jurisdictions is what they give back to the communities in which they operate.
Many companies have garnered a lot of customers and admirers through timely and dedicated corporate social responsibilities.
Asanko Mines are currently operating in legal mining in and around the environs of Kumasi and management of this mining firm have promised to lift the fallen educational standards in Kumasi through their Corporate Social Responsibilities. During their encounter with some selected schools in Kumasi, they shared some teaching and learning resources such as textbooks, bags, white marker boards, etc.
According to their statement, the job of education is not only the burden of teachers but for all (parents, chiefs, politicians, etc).
One of the teachers from the chosen schools during the vote of thanks, thanked all and sundry who had education at heart.
Imagine how education as a whole will prosper if all companies supported schools at their operating communities.
