Australian High Commissioner Meets GIJ Rector Over Ghana-Australia Cooperation
Australian High Commissioner, HE Gregory Andrews, has taken to his official Facebook page to eulogize the Rector of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), Prof. Kwamena Kwansah-Aidoo because of his dual citizenship. According to the celebrity High Commissioner, the Rector has lived in Australia for over 20 years and has quite an Australian sense of humor.
The High Commissioner posited;
Ghanaians and Australians both have cheeky senses of humour. That’s why I can’t stop laughing with my new friend Professor Kwamena Kwansah-Aidoo who is Rector of the Ghana Institute of Journalism. Kwamena is a citizen of both our countries and has lived in Australia for over 20 years. He says his children have thick Australian accents and I can tell you that his sense of humour is clearly supercharged!
On a more serious note, Kwamena is a Ghanaian-Australian contributing to Ghana’s democracy and media freedom through his leadership of the key institute training Ghana’s journalists. How is that for Ghana-Australia cooperation.
