Award Schemes Forget Executive Producers

The executive producers of Ghana have complained bitterly about award schemes that fail to recognize their work in making the industry work. Most awards only appreciate the efforts of the musicians and also artiste but forget the brain behind these talent. In a conversation today with Alhaji Banda owner of Bandex productions on AMpluzz  he affirmed these claims.

He explained that being given recognition will just motivate them to know their efforts are appreciated but to be left out totally is very bad. He also said that plaques or frames don’t cost much but means a lot to the recipient and it must be done. He said Ghana music Awards when it started used to honour executive producers but at point they just ignored them all together. Alhaji Banda spoke passionately and even commended journalist who play songs or talk about movies and  openly recognize the works of these executive producers. Alhaji banda is one of the solid pillars in Ghana Music and the movie world. He is one of the veteran producers who have made tremendous efforts in transforming the industry.
