Bawumia is making some parties having difficulties in selecting running mate – Atik Mohammed

General Secretary for the opposition PNC, Atik Mohamed has argued that moving forward all running mates should be Economists due to our economic management architecture.

Using Dr. Bawumia as a test case, he said he has raised the bar so high to the extent that some parties are having difficulty in selecting their running mates.

“Looking at the economic management architecture of our country, it would seem as if it is becoming an unspoken requirement that, running mates/Veeps must be Economists and of a certain standing.

Could  that explain why some candidates still are having difficulty making running mate choices? It will be fun and useful to have Economists who will potentially lead the EMT, engage in deeper intellectual debate on the state of our economy and where we must be headed really soon.”he said
