Be Wary Of Fake News & Anti-Social Deeds – Prez Nana Addo

Just like the American President, Donald Trump, the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has started chasing some Ghanaians over what he terms as fake news. President Donald Trump is noted for calling out CNN and other big media outlets as producers of fake news because of the sort of news items they publish about his presidency.

During President Akufo-Addo’s 14th National Address to Ghanaians on measures to clamp down on the spread of COVID-19, the President cautioned Ghanaians to be careful of fake news from some publishers whose main aim is to distort fact to suit and/or push their personal agendum.

Also, he shaded those stigmatizing against recovered COVID-19 patients to desist from what he terms as their “anti-social” antics.

He added that, such stigmas may drop traumatic experiences into the victims.
