“The utterances were unfortunate. They came on the spare of the moment. I was on heat,”

Though he described his comment as ‘unfortunate and distasteful’, he told Parliament’s Privileges Committee Thursday June 25, 2015 that his claim was not meant to paint Parliament black in the eyes of Ghanains and the rest of the world.

Blakk Rasta was invited to answer questions over radio claims that 80 percent of Ghana’s law makers smoke marijuana and it was time for its usage to be legalised.

The committee was chaired by First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Ebo Barton Odro.

“It was not my intension to destroy anyone’s reputation, my intention was a passionate one and it was to have our economy balanced…but sincerely I think it was an undeserving remark and I must say that I’m sorry for making such comments” he pleaded.
