Breaking News: AY Poyoo Bags BBC Feature
In ghana, almost everyone is willing to do anything to trend and stay relevant. For a while now, a development that has been gaining grounds is how socialites go the extra mile to trend on social media for sometime.
A few months ago, Shatta Bandle was the one with the spotlight until Hon. Aponkye from no where took away his shine. Then came Bosom P-Yung with “Attaa Adwoa”. From there, Akuapem Poloo came along with her twerking; Sista Afia, eno barony and Freda Rhymz also trended because of their diss in raps. For now, the Poyoorians' captain @ AY Poyoo is in the limelight now.

AY Poyoo has had his international recognition elevated after he appeared on BBC. This is one of the most life fulfilling feats any artiste can ever dream of. With his fans all over Africa, AY Poyoo sure has a lot ahead of him.
So, who is AY Poyoo?
He is the new rap sensation in town who is rapping in gibberish and capitalizing on the fact that some Ghanaians love “weird” stuff. He simply uses old beats of prominent musicians like Sarkodie, EL, and others to compose his own rap versions — cover acts sort of bangers.
He literally combines jovial lyrical contents, implores buffoonery in his music video, and calls himself – The Face Of GH Rap. His symbol is walking around with goats because he believes he's the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) in GH rap. In short, he is the next gem!
Kudos to AY Poyoo for this one…
