A piece of the very sad news coming in now indicates that the residents of Doryumu-Abeka in the Shai Osudoku District in the Greater Accra region have been thrown into a state of shock and of mourning, as they woke up to the gruesome murder of a 20-year-old lady identified as Juliette Obu in a pool of blood.

The unsuspecting residents were awakened Monday night January 11 to the noise of Juliette crying for help but no one came to her aid only for them to wake up to the gruesome murder of the lady in question by unknown assailants today January 12.

Some residents who last saw her revealed that she was in the company of a young man suspected to be her boyfriend a few minutes before she was found dead in a pool of blood. The young man is yet to be identified.

The Doryumu Police Commander DSP Banini who confirmed the incident said the case has been transferred to the Regional headquarters while investigators conveyed the body of the damsel to the morgue.
