Burna Boy Wins BET Twice In A Row Whilst Sark, Shatta & Stone Missed Nominations.

Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu Rex, known professionally as Burna Boy who is a Nigerian singer and songwriter and rose to prominence in 2012 after releasing “Like to Party”, the lead single from his debut studio album L.I.F.E. has made all the headlines after he accepted the award for Best International Act at the BET Awards 2020 in the comforts of his home.

The event turned out that way because of the travel restrictions due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

It’s quite disappointing that neither Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, or any Ghanaian artiste was even nominated in the BET.
